TNPSC exam refers to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. A total of 22 lakh people have applied for the TNPSC Group 4 exam across Tamil Nadu. It recruits eligible candidates for Group 4 posts in departments like Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Survey, and Land Records Subordinate Service, Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service, and Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat Service. The TNPSC Group 4 Exam is conducted offline, followed by document verification and the same procedure was followed in the TNPSC Group 4 2022 exam as well. - Executive Officer, Grade-III included in Group-VII-B Services

TNPSC Group 4 2022
TNPSC Group 4 2022 exam was successfully conducted on 24 July 2022. The post-wise distribution of TNPSC Group 4 vacancies has been notified along with the TNPSC Group 4 Notification as of 28 September, 2022. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has notified a total of 7301 vacancies for various departments. In the written examination, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission had asked a total number of 200 multiple choice questions from two sections for a duration of 180 minutes. Every question had a weightage of 1.5 marks, and there was no negative marking system.
There were two sections in TNPSC group 4 2022 written exam from which the questions were asked- General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test.

Part A – Tamil language Paper (100 Questions/150 Marks)

General studies- This section included questions on History, Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Geography, Economics, Indian National Movement, Development and Administration in Tamil Nadu History, Culture, Heritage, and Socio-Political Movements of TN
Aptitude and Mental Ability test- This section included questions on Simplification Ratio and Proportion, Simple Interest Compound Interest, Area and Volume, Time and Work, Puzzles, Dice, Visual Reasoning, Alpha Numeric Reasoning, Number Series, Logical reasoning.

Results Declaration Schedule For TNPSC Group 4 2022
A schedule released presented details for the results of every exam as of 28 September 2022. The results for most of the posts will be published in October 2022.
Except for the post of the Executive Officer, Grade-IV is included in Group-VIII Services, for which the results will be published in November 2022.
Candidates acquiring at least 90 marks are qualified for the counselling round but that is only the eligibility criteria. To secure jobs in sought-after posts, candidates should score well, ranging from 120-160 marks depending on their reservation as the expected cut off marks for TNPSC group 4 exam 2022 will be 160 for VAO and 170 for Junior Assistant vacancies.
TNPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure after Result
Depending on the marks obtained by the candidate in the written exam, the tentative list of the candidates who qualify for the verification of the certificates (these include SSLC, HSC , Graduate and Community certificates) will be announced by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on their official website. After verifying the original certificates, the eligible candidates will be called for counselling. They will be allotted their post and the department. This will take place according to the rank and category of the candidate and would also depend on the number of seats available.
