There are several ways you can choose to save money on your beauty products and processes. It is as easy as finding things around your house that you would never think of using.

You can still feel beautiful when having to be on a budget. No reason to buy expensive products and go to a specialist is needed. Find your favorite types and tricks to save money in the beauty industry.

1)   Clean your brushes: Put a dot of shampoo in the palm of your hand. Wet your makeup brush, then swirl around in your hand and rise. Do this process until the water runs clear.

2)   Cut your makeup wipes or cotton swaps in half to last longer.

3)   Wash your face! Double cleanse if your need to but was your face no matter how tired you are at night.

4)   Find dupes for your expensive products. Search only and you can find plenty of options for dupes on your favorite skincare or makeup products.

5)   TJ Maxx, Burlington, and Marshalls have great deals on skincare and makeup items. They sell brand-name items at a marked-down price. They also have hair products for women and men, hairstyle tools, and different types of lotions.

6)   Order an at-home lash and lift kit. They are cheap and simple to use.

7)   Keep some type of makeup remover wipe by your bed. So even if you are tired, you won’t break out the next morning.

8)   Make DIY facial scrubs: there are several recipes out there but the most popular ingredients are sugar, avocado oil, and olive oil.

9)   Instead of spending so much money trying to fix your blackheads, make a DIY treatment at home. This can be done with milk and honey, eggs, gelatin, and believe it or not…yogurt and oatmeal.

10)                    Use samples at a beauty store instead of buying the full product to test out. It may seem simple, but most people don’t know beauty stores provide samples.

11)                    Use coupons! Those might be out of style, but they are still handy when using a budget. There are several deals at your CVS pharmacy.

12)                    Make DIY teeth whitener. Baking soda and toothpaste are popular ingredients in DIY teeth whitening treatments.

13)                    Buy the dollar face masks at Walmart or Ulta Beauty. They are a great way to spice up your beauty routine without breaking the bank.

14)                    Use vaseline to dry spots on the skin. Vaseline is cheap and can be used for several other things such as sunburns, burns, and rashes.

15)                    Coffee grounds are great for exfoliating your skin. Add a little water and this can be an easy fix to rub off dry and flaky skin.

16)                    Buy an at-home lash extension kit. This can be tricky at first, but once you get comfortable doing it, you will save so much money each money. The supplies alone cost anywhere from 10-30 bucks but can be used several times, not just once.

17)                     A dried-out liquid eyeliner tip can be so annoying but did you know that some have another side to them. Just pull the tip out with some tweezers and your eyeliner may have another side.

18)                    Get a razor sharpener! You may not have to replace your razor as much if all it needs is a little sharpening. Some shower exfoliator rocks can sharpen the razor.

19)                    Use the edges of your concealer tube. Since concealer is not as liquid as a foundation, it likes to stick to the side.

20)                    You can reuse your stick-on lashes. The glue is easy to remove so don’t through them away. Put your old lashes into a bowl with hot water and soap. The glue will soften and be easily removed.
